The adventure continues. The second novel.
Poplar Hawk Moth

A novel of adventure and hardship, laughter and
endurance, of children, parents, grandparents, and all kinds of wild and natural things. Most of all a story of a dream come true, of never being bored again!

Sharon & orphan baby rabbit.                                      WILL  YOU  LIKE  IT?
In the previous book, Village by the Ford the family leave their big house and friends for the loneliness of a wild Cornish Valley. House by the stream finds the family on the point of failure, but can they succeed after all? It is a gentle tale by today’s standards, but danger does lie ahead. As the caravan visitors start to arrive, there is humour, how curiously people behave, problems to surmount, sadness and elation, a need to improvise - and the children, how do they manage? Could your own do better? This is a true story but written as fiction. The places and people are real, and the events, even much of the dialogue, but not all, for who can remember every exact word. What you read is there to be seen, pay a visit, for it did happen. Always a risk, an adventure with no certainty of success - but wouldn’t you love to do something similar? If you dare!
