                                     Will you like it?

A novel without crime or violence, but with a certain humour, the tale of a family with three young children, 3, 6 and 8 years, who abandon a successful life near a big city, to buy a wild but beautiful valley beside a small river at the southern tip of Cornwall. There they attempt to create their very own holiday caravan park, and in doing so live at first with no drinking water, no electricity, and no building of any kind, - doing what millions would love to do if only they had the nerve to give up secure, well-ordered lives. While struggling in those first few days to survive the drastic change from large urban house to tiny caravan in total isolation, the children revel in their wild new playground. Life is so very different, with weekly baths in the cold clear river and a true outside loo that can only be used with modesty after dark. But after the first excitement, how will they handle the isolation – can the family succeed? It is a story with deep but subtle romance, and a love of all things natural, of orphan baby rabbits and rearing an injured buzzard. And it's true - a story of real people real and real places.
